10 Tips for successful engineering students

1. Identify people who inspire you, and find out what motivates them. If you like the product of Apple, Steve Jobs may be your idol, or perhaps the love and Segway creator Dean Kamen. You can find lots of information about jobs and Kamen, or almost any other important people in technology, so consider using it to help people and businesses to be so successful. Then imitate the good qualities in their personal lives and professional school.
2. Develop a portfolio of projects. The opportunity to participate in practical learning experience that lets you schedule balanced. In this way, you will have something unique to show prospective employers (or VC) as they pass, while other students will only be a list of their courses. In addition, it is much more likely to retain the knowledge you gain in class, and that will be used in the process, improve communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Learn the value of the network. When it comes to being a leader, who know it is almost as important as what you know. Attend lectures on campus and introduce you to the speakers. Check with your alumni association of the school to get a list of alumni from your program that want to deal with students.

Basic structural drafting standards, symbols and shop drawing

Standard of Scale Figure

The Bureau further
represents to the vessel Owner or other client of the Bureau that its certificates and reports evidence compliance only with one or more of the Rules, Guides, standards or other criteria of the Bureau in accordance with the terms of such certificate or report. Under no circumstances whatsoever are these representations to be deemed to relate to any third party.

Learning AutoCAD For Oil & Gas Engineering Field

freelance drafter, This time I will explain about the importance of learning autocad for oil & gas fields of engineering jobs. I will explain that design engineering jobs and oil & gas sector is mostly about the foundation and pipe support, skid (drag media) for piping as well as for tank / vessel is in oil & gas plant jobs.
To make drawing or drafting design for field of oil & gas engineering there are a lot of programs / add on applications, that are often used by designers to create a design drawing like the support pipes, such as programs Microstation, PDMS (Plant Design Management System), Tribon, Foran etc, are software design widely used as an alternative drawing on oil & gas fields.Well for those of you who have learned AutoCAD and want to upgrade to this level, please to learn more on this blog, God willing, I will discuss in next article.
Back again to the topic, for oil & gas sector  widely used on the same principle, namely drawing foundations, reinforced concrete and structural / steel frame. And it is very possible if you want to stay in this field, learn autocad with objects above you will surely meet again. But the difference if you become a professional designer, you should be able to calculate the material required for fabrication needs, so in addition to drawing you should be able to calculate the material. Because I suggest you to learn autocad  also must be able to count all the objects that you have been drawing pictures and making lists of materials for fabrication needs.

ISO standard for engineering drawings

When Freelance drafter begin to make a drawing in AutoCAD, there are habits that are less appropriate for beginners. Freelancer immediately draw without any layer. Though the layer is very important for the regulation of each object image. Freelance drafter only need to create a single master file with a standard layer, save it and if freelance drafter want to create a new project to stay Save As ..

Create a layer in AutoCAD jobs:
